The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium, is pleased to offer a fully funded PhD scholarship to “design and control continuum robots for minimal invasive surgical applications”. The successful applicant will receive a PhD scholarship for 4 years.

PhD position for engineer/mathematician/computer scientist with good algorithmic skills and preferably a background in (biomedical) signal processing for a thesis on Emotion recognition from EEG by using multi-channel information theoretic metrics at the Computational Neuroscience Research Group of KU Leuven.

The Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Ghent University, Belgium, offers a PhD position in Computer Science. The candidate will carry out his/her research in the context of a project on personalizing advertisements based on user generated content, in close cooperation with the Department of Computer Science, KU Leuven, Belgium.
